The Flexographic Technical Association provides TRAINING & EDUCATION for flexographers. An ever-expanding library of technical aids includes: publications & textbooks, interactive CD-ROMS and proceedings detailing nearly every area and aspect of flexo printing.
The Flexographic Trade School (FTS) is a very unique press-operator training, research and technology institute. Fashioned to meet the needs of progressive flexographic printers in the new millennia, FTS provides an excellent educational business model for the trade schools of tomorrow.
FVTC offers a wide range of educational opportunities including short courses, one-year diploma programs and two-year associate degree programs in package and label printing.
In addition, the facility is ideal for teaching students and business/industry the technology of flexographic printing. It features a state-of-the-art 8-color gearless central impression wide web press; a 6-color, 7-inch inline narrow web press; a 5-color, 16-inch inline narrow web press; and a 3-color inline corrugated press with rotary die-cutter. Other support areas include image assembly, photopolymer platemaking, and platemounting.
