I get the color test but do you do hand pills.off the roll?

I've caught more by pull tight on the tail on the top of a roll

Ckeck for run out on anil and other areas. Maybe find some issues?

It is hard to figure out at 1st.

But if you use a tint block sleeve or flood coated plate and play around with it, you can get the hang of it

Hi longtimefan Why do you want to keep inks cool? For solvent evaporation issues? I've seen on a long-run with small coverage (and specifically CMYK inks) that when you open the lid after being closed for a long time, a misty cloud has formed in the ink pot. Pretty cool. In general

Reverse print darkest to lightest

Surface lighted to darkest

But trap needs to be considered and drying

Keep inks cool

Work with solvent inks Wide web press. Currently not climate controlled and the ink system isn’t cooled

I have a few ideas using dry ice and a basin like a horse trough

Build a small enclosure and pipe in air con

Any ideas?

I have doubts that water-based ink is causing your problem. Can you describe the problem in a little more detail? Are you having color-to-color registration issues? I have printed water base on a co extruded poly film. While this didn't stretch it worked fine on it



Inx makes great water base inks

Can you shim the nip where it bolts in the holder? Add an extra washer to the threaded bolt somehow?
