What is the difference between 0.067" and 0.045" Flexo Plates in quality print and operation?

Not much, less relief on the 45's and some like the shoulders on them due to less relief.

Pro - good for HD print, high durometer
Con - easy to tear or crease when de mounting

In terms of print quality , probably no difference at all .
What should be considered is the hardness or softness of the tape that you use .
Some use a very soft tape when the pic has many highlight areas , to achieve a good print of the minimum dots ; however
what can occur on 45 thou is that the floor of the plate may print up , especially if the images are dispersed
( minimum image on a large plate ) .
Soft tape prints a better quality highlight , and harder tape prints a better ink laydown on solid areas ...
67 thou is probably easier to work with , and also does not tear so easily when demounting the plate ?
