Heaford Flexo proofing presses are specialised machines for proofing flexo plates using production inks, substrates, anilox's and plate cylinders. The machines are available in two formats (Drum or Belt) each having their own major advantages and can be supplied in varying widths to exactly suit the individual customer's requirements, be they platemakers or printers.
J M Heaford Ltd developed the first Microdot mounting machines in 1992 ensuring that printers can now mount plates with great speed, efficiency and 100% accuracy. Machines are available with or without a proofing system. The machines precision construction combined with a repeatable cylinder position system and high magnification (140X) multi camera configurations allow precise and accurate laydown of plates from operators who have had limited training.
